Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 14, 2026

QuickCatch is built so that we cannot see your data. This policy explains what that means in practice.

The short version

We collect nothing. QuickCatch has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of ours. Your catches are stored on your device, processed on your device, and — if you enable iCloud Sync — synced only through your personal iCloud account. We, Devatic, never receive, store, or have access to anything you write or say in QuickCatch.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you capture in QuickCatch (text, categories, reminder times, completion and lock states) is stored locally on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, this data is also stored in your private iCloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest, under your Apple Account. That sync is provided by Apple's CloudKit service and is governed by Apple's privacy policy; we operate no servers and cannot read your synced data. You can turn iCloud Sync off at any time, and you can delete all data from Settings → Delete All Data.

On-device intelligence

QuickCatch sorts your catches using Apple Intelligence models that run entirely on your iPhone. Your text is never sent to us or to any third-party AI service for classification, summarization, or duplicate detection. The weekly review summary is generated on your device.

Voice input

Voice catches are transcribed using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is processed on your iPhone and is not transmitted to us. QuickCatch asks for microphone permission only when you first use voice capture.

Face ID and locked catches

Locked catches are protected using Face ID / Touch ID via Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. Your biometric data is managed entirely by iOS; QuickCatch never sees, stores, or receives it — the system only tells the app whether authentication succeeded.

Notifications

Reminders use local notifications scheduled on your device. No notification content passes through our or third-party servers.

Purchases

QuickCatch offers a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we do not receive your name, payment details, or any personally identifying purchase information.

Exports and sharing

Exporting to CSV or text, sending a catch to Apple Reminders or Calendar, and sharing a catch are actions you initiate; the data goes only where you send it.

What we collect about you

Nothing. QuickCatch contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no third-party code that transmits data. The app makes no network connections to servers operated by us. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized statistics (such as download counts) that contain no personal information.

Children

QuickCatch is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how QuickCatch handles data, we will update this policy and the "effective date" above before the change takes effect. Because we collect nothing, we have no way to notify you directly — check this page with app updates.
